This was created to post my work of photos around Bellingham, WA and elsewhere, but also to enlighten individuals who want to get started in Google Earth modeling through SketchUp. I've tweaked around with for a while before takign a hiatus from it for almost 6 months. The main reason I'm interested in SketchUp and its Google Earth application is for modeling my hometown. It has a fairly large population although not a city. It also has many great buildings both new and old.
The purpose and direction of this blog will go towards...
- Logging my experience with SketchUP.
- Recording any problems I come across in uploading models to Google Earth.
- Tips and tricks for taking photos for easy or accurate and immediate use in SketchUp as skins.
- Contain my photos of Bellingham, WA from architecture to people.
