Been messing around with Small Basic

Small Basic is a pretty decent piece of a free software programming application. It doesn't help you at all if you don't have a book around, I reference the PDF to get started off everytime.
From Microsoft providing free versions of its programming suites tagged with Express in their name, Small Basic seems to be a breath of fresh air from what those have become, or how my forgetfulness makes even VisualBASIC seem difficult. I haven't tested the boundaries of it, and yes I know its a really simple language, but since I'm now even more so focused on microcontrollers at the moment. Why not learn programming.
In good news, in light of me taking photos of Bellingham in order to SketchUp them, I will definitely be trying to soon. I've gotten a lot of experience on my camera and hopefully that pays off in time when working in The GIMP to square everything away for use as a texture.

What is this Blog for?

This was created to post my work of photos around Bellingham, WA and elsewhere, but also to enlighten individuals who want to get started in Google Earth modeling through SketchUp. I've tweaked around with for a while before takign a hiatus from it for almost 6 months. The main reason I'm interested in SketchUp and its Google Earth application is for modeling my hometown. It has a fairly large population although not a city. It also has many great buildings both new and old.

The purpose and direction of this blog will go towards...
  • Logging my experience with SketchUP.
  • Recording any problems I come across in uploading models to Google Earth.
  • Tips and tricks for taking photos for easy or accurate and immediate use in SketchUp as skins.
  • Contain my photos of Bellingham, WA from architecture to people.
